Terms and Conditions

If hired to preform work verbal or in writing, client agrees to terms and conditions stated below: 

1. Shield Solar Solutions, LLC  will perform:

a. Inspection of panels 

b. Solar Panel Cleaning of panels agreed upon

c. Recommendations/referrals for complementary services 

d. Other services offered

e. Referral for services not offered by Shield Solar Solutions, LLC 

2. Homeowner responsibilities: 

a. Timeliness of communication 

b. Property/Solar panel access 

c. Water source 

d. Advance notice of dangerous conditions 

e. Electrical power source 

f. Security to prevent theft of Shield Solar Solutions equipment. 

g. Notify us if there is a tool or and equipment left behind at project site. 

3. Complementary services added to scope / estimate provided: 

a. Will look or obvious & clear damages related to the scope of work. 

b. Will Not look for condition of area, parts, color, condition, etc...

c. Any finding will be reported to client via photos and/or text/email and noted in clients portal 

d. Client to acknowledge any damages found before scope of work performed.  

e. Estimate is not final price 

4. Describe the standard of care / pre- and post-inspection 

a. Answers any questions client has

b. We take photo's before and after work performed

c. Notify client of any damages found prior to start 

d. Will report any damages found or caused by scope of work

e. Not responsible for water runoff for anything below of near cleaning areas. 

5. Dangerous conditions 

a. Any whether or obstruction to prevent a safe way to preform scope of work

b. If site is unsafe - we have the right to cancel or reschedule project 

c. May return to a  project once verification of property is safe and clear 

d. Any damage caused by scope of work will be reported to client and noted in portal 

e. Electrical Hazard conditions 

f. Pitch angle of roofing or loose tiles.

g. Any reason described by SSS. 

6. Environmental assurances 

a. Cleaning solvents used if obsoletely necessary. 

b. Client is responsible for Disposal of runoff or any fees occurred by runoff. 

c. Use of environmentally friendly products. 

d. Drought concerns 

e. Heat concerns

f. Hazard Concerns

7. Inclement weather policy / rescheduling 

a. Forecast 

b. Triggers 

c. Will reschedule/cancel if project is unsafe to complete scope of work

d. We have the right to cancel any project at anytime

8. Price to be charged 

a. Dollar amount 

b. Subject to change with or without notice

c. Discounts available 

d. If there are services added prior or after completion of one or more services, price may be adjusted   

9. Method of payment 

a. Checks 

b. Cash 

c. Credit Cards

d. Digital payment systems: zelle, venmo, cash app, apple pay, etc...

10. Deposit / time of payment 

a. Deposit is required over $500.00 dollars. 

b. Final payment to be completed immediately after completion of scope of work that was agreed upon. 

c. Shield Solar Solutions, LLC has right to file a lien on the property if not paid within a reasonable time. 

d. Time to pay is determined by Shield solar solutions, LLC 

e. Additional time is only valid if Shield Solar Solutions, LLC grants a reasonable time to pay in writing. 

11. Refund / cancellation policy 

a. No Refunds for any or all work and supplies for each project

b. Homeowner can cancel prior to any project at least 48hours in advance. After 48hours client may forfeit their deposit. Subject to shield solar solutions, LLCs discretion

c. Any refunds issued cannot exceed the total amount that was paid. 

d. Refunds are determined by the sole discretion of Shield Solar Solutions, LLC 

12. Satisfaction guarantee 

a. There is no satisfaction guarantee 

b. No GUARANTEE on scope of work or services performed 

c. If Customer is not satisficed by scope of work agreed upon, Customer may receive moneyback in the total amount that they paid. Not to exceed total amount.

13. Referral Program / Discounts 

a. Referral program is not currently offered. 

b. We offer a 10% discount to veterans & first responders

c. We have the right to deny or change our program at any time 

d. We have to right to determine if we offer a discount to any client

e. Discounts will be reflected in invoice 

f. Referrals will be noted in clients portal

14. Release / Limits on liability / damages 

a. Client/Project releases liability to Shield Solar Solutions ,LLC for any or all damages caused by the services performed in scope of work

b. Clients has 5 days after completion to notify Shield Solar Solutions, LLC in writing any damages that they believe was caused by Shield Solar Solutions, LLC

c. Any or all damages caused by Shield Solar Solutions, LLC may be covered by Insurance. 

d. Any damages caused by Shield Solar Solutions, LLC  can only be to the total amount that was paid. Cannot exceed total amount for services agreed upon

15. Dispute resolution / Venue / Choice of Law 

a. First step - Mediation 

b. Second Step - Arbitration 

c. To be determined by Shield Solar Solutions, LLC 

d. All fees related to any disputes to be paid in full by party of initiation. 

16 Right to Refuse service

a. We have the right to refuse service to anyone. 

b. The treatment of workers, contactors, partners, etc... 

by agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to pay for the deposit and/or services selected and completed by Shield Solar Solutions, LLC.
